In class, especially during geography, science and religion lessons, the pupils ask all sorts of interesting questions- some of which we can answer straight away, and some of which we need to research.
This blog is for the pupils to record these curious questions and then for others -classmates, teachers, parents and friends, to post their answers. Sometimes there might even be more than one answer to these curious questions!

Maglev Trains
There is a train in Japan called the Maglev which runs on Magnetic Energy. Can anyone find out how it works?
"Maglev" is short for "Magnetic Levitation". There are very strong magnets on the bottom of the train and on the railway track. That is what causes the train to float while moving.
